PPDG Environmental Policy 

PPDG recognise that it has a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements.

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods, with regular review points. We will encourage customers, suppliers and stakeholders to do the same.

Policy Aims

We will endeavour to:

• Integrate the consideration of environmental concerns and impacts into all of our decision making and activities

• Promote environmental awareness among our employees and encourage them to work in an environmentally responsible manner and in
  accordance with our Environmental Management System

• Train, educate and inform our employees about environmental issues that may affect their work

• Reduce waste through re-use and recycling and by purchasing recycled, recyclable or refurbished products and materials where these
  alternatives are available, economical and suitable

• Promote efficient use of materials and resources throughout our facility including water, electricity and packaging

• Reduce the need to travel, restricting to necessity trips only

• Promote the use of travel alternatives such as email or video/phone conferencing

• Communicate our environmental commitment to clients, customers, suppliers and sub-contractors

• Work with suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors to improve their environmental performance

• Strive to continually improve our environmental performance, prevent pollution of the environment and minimise the social impact and
  damage of activities by periodically reviewing our environmental policy in light of our current and planned activities

• Review our environmental performance through setting environmental objectives and targets that are specific, measurable, attainable,
  realistic and timely

• Document and implement our activities through the maintenance of our Environmental Management System

• Comply with all environmental legislation that is applicable to the company
